The 2nd International Meeting of Elected Women will take place on 6 and 7 November
The 2nd International Meeting of Elected Women, promoted by the Fons Mallorquí de Cooperació with the support of the Consell de Mallorca, will hold its second edition on 6 and 7 November at the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca. This new venue will host more than twenty elected women, experts, and institutional representatives from Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Mediterranean. The meeting, organised under the umbrella of the Les Elegides programme — awarded the 2025 European Platforma Prize as an example of good practice in decentralised cooperation — is consolidating itself as an international space for debate, cooperation, and shared learning among women with public responsibilities.
Over two days, participants will discuss leadership, parity, equality, and innovation in public management, as well as the role of women in building local cooperation networks through round tables, debates, conferences, and transformative conversations. With this second edition, Mallorca reaffirms its role as a reference point in municipalist international cooperation with a gender perspective, promoting more inclusive and equitable governance.
