This study is part of the Capacity Development of Local Governments (CDLG) Project, funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The CDLG project aims to strengthen the capacities of local authorities to become more inclusive, responsive, and accountable, enabling them to plan effectively, enhance resilience, and deliver improved services. The study builds on the findings of two surveys and continues their objective of improving local government systems and making local governments “fit for future”.
