This workshop will address the importance of crisis management, attacks, and gender narratives through the following work program:
- What is disinformation and hate speech?
- Identification of common attacks and response strategies
- Techniques for maintaining calm and authority
- Use of assertive responses and positive messages
- Role-playing: attack simulations and effective responses
- Strengthening public image and personal branding
- How to build an image consistent with your discourse and values
- Use of social media and media
- Practice and feedback workshop: presentation of speeches prepared by participants
- Constructive feedback focused on clarity, impact, and authenticity
- Tips for improving advocacy and public presence
- Development of a plan to continue practicing and strengthening skills
- Identification of resources and allies for ongoing support
The workshop will be conducted using a participatory methodology and a feminist and intersectional approach. Participants are encouraged to engage in collective reflection and identify useful tools that will foster a broader and more inclusive electoral process. The workshop aims to provide a provocative space to overcome difficulties related to crafting political discourse, address gender-based political violence, and promote concrete advocacy actions in favor of women's political rights.
The workshop will be facilitated by:
- Cecilia Terrazas Ruiz and Carmen Tavera Valdivieso, experts in social communication, gender, and public policy. Both have advanced degrees in human rights and extensive experience in gender analysis and women's rights.
