Within the framework of the Elegides, a space for meeting and exchange between elected officials from the global South and North and with the general objective of strengthening the participation of women in local politics, the Fons Mallorquí is launching a series of workshops to reflect and exchange experiences on the leadership of women in politics, especially at the local level. These workshops are based on interactive dialogue, reflection and the exchange of knowledge and experiences.

In this participatory and theoretical-practical
workshop, led by Ana Lydia Fernández, we reflected on leadership from a
feminist, gender and intercultural perspective. The participants

The workshop was run by Ana
Lydia Fernández-Layos Fernández, an expert in gender equity and
experiential and participatory methodologies. With more than 25 years of
experience in institutions such as the UN, the EU, AECID and various
ONGDs, she has worked in project management and evaluation, teaching,
research and development of gender equity policies in Europe, Asia,
Africa and Latin America.
