Within the framework of the Les Elegides program, a space for exchange between elected officials from the global South and North to promote women's participation in local politics, the Fons Mallorquí is organizing a series of workshops to reflect and share experiences on female leadership. These workshops are based on interactive dialogue, reflection and the exchange of knowledge.
On March 26th, the first session of the Workshop on Leadership and Popular Participation from a Feminist Perspective took place.
Contents:
- Self-image and self-concept as a leader: Reflection on the internal and external influences that influence my identity and leadership.
- Feminist leadership and female leadership. Definitions of leadership types and how they relate to my own leadership style.
- Self-analysis of my leadership from a gender and feminist perspective.
Speaker:
The workshop was be led by Ana Lydia Fernández-Layos Fernández, an expert in gender equity and experiential and participatory methodologies. With more than 25 years of experience in institutions such as the UN, the EU, AECID and various ONGDs, she has worked in the management and evaluation of projects, teaching, research and development of gender equity policies in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
